Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Our God is a promise-keeper. We have evidence that His Word is correct. We are living proof that His word will not fail. But we must rely on His Word to instruct, correct, and guide us.

To receive God’s guidance, said Solomon, we must submit to God in all our ways. This means turning every area of life over to God.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Consider your priorities and values.

What matters to you?

On this list, where does God appear?

What aspects of your life have you not submitted to God?

We have all given God numerous excuses to abandon us, yet He has never done so. He remained there and will be there forever. God is always the same for us.

Stop trying to get ahead of God.

Without God, you will never be able to fulfill the potential that God has for you or arrive at your destiny.

Jesus is the main focus, not us.

It all comes down to what He wants to accomplish in and through us, what He has given us to do here on earth, and what would honor and glorify His Name.

We need to know the Father in order to truly comprehend this and walk in His Will and light.

You must know what God is requiring of you to do on this earth, and we cannot do this without having a relationship with God like a deep-rooted relationship with Christ.

We cannot let life's distractions take us away from our lifeline.

We cannot let the troubles of the world consume us and cause us to worry.

God has control. We must remember that God has commanded us to ensure that no one takes you captive (Colossians 2:8).

God Is Still Good, even in the Midst of Your Pain

Oftentimes, we get caught up in asking God "why”. But I would encourage you to ask God “why not me”? “God show me where you are in this situation I’m facing”. When I shifted my focus to this question, God blessed me by demonstrating how He orchestrated trial and tribulation I faced to work for good.

Today, I would encourage you to trust God regardless. Seek God's knowledge and see how He might transform your perspective and give you assurance that He is with you.
